Namtok Pa La-u

Located in Kaeng Krachan National Park is a fantastic 11-tiered waterfall surrounded by dark, pristine forest. Visitors can easily get to the waterfall by local transportation from Hua Hin, 63 km away. Visitors can view each level of the waterfall by walking up a trail which runs parallel to the stream. The national park is home to an interesting variety of birds and butterflies, many of which are most visible between 7am and 10am. There is also the chance you could spot wild animals, along with several species of rare birds. The best time to visit is between November and April when the waterfall is at its most beautiful. The Butterfly and Herb Garden

Located opposite Klai Kangwon Palace. Strolling through the gardens can make for a relaxing afternoon. Featuring an huge variety of butterflies, birds, orchids and a lush walking garden thick with tropical plants indigenous to Thailand, you can enjoy a host of diverse flowers and herbal plants, as well as the stunning, colorful butterflies that call this garden their home. The garden opens daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Hua Hin

Although Hua Hin is small, its historic tourism industry ensures that there is a wealth of things to do. Hua Hin Beach was the reason the town was founded, and starting the morning with a stroll or light jog along its striking white sands is a great way to start the day. For those looking for a little more adventure and a slightly more challenging route, the trail up to Khao Ta Kiap, the hill situated at the southern end of Hua Hin Beach, just 4kms from the town, is a great goal. From the top of the hill the panoramic views of Hua Hin and the surrounding coast make the effort worth it. This is a great spot to see the sun both rise and set.

Hua Hin Railway Station

One of Thailand’s oldest and most beautiful stations is a popular tourist drop off point for those looking to discover more about the history of the area. Built during the reign of King Rama VI, it is the blend of European and Thai architecture that makes it so striking and well worth a visit.

Klai Kangwon Palace

In Thai, the name of the palace literally means far from worries. This summer palace consists of 3 Spanish style mansions facing the sea was constructed to the north of Hua Hin under the royal command of King Rama VII. Today, it is the permanent residence of the King.

Pak Num Pran

Just 10 mins drive from Villa Maroc, Pak Num Pran blessed with endless miles of white sandy beaches, The Pranburi forest park occupies a large area with 1-kilometre pine fringed beach and mangrove nature trails.

Tham Kaeo

Is situated 23 kilometres from Pranburi. This cave is full of stalacites and stalagmites. Oil lamps can be rented at a nearby village for exploring the cave.

Hat Laem Sala

Is located 16 kilometres north of the Kao Sam Roy Yot National Park office. It can be reached by boat or walking across a hill from Bang Pu Village. Walking up a beachside mountain for a while, visitors will arrive at a famous cave call “Tham Phraya Nakorn”. The cave has a big hole through which a shaft of light reached and permit the growth of various kinds of plants. Phra Thi Nang Khuha Kharuhat, a Thai style Pavilion, lends the most attractive sight to the canve and has become the symbol of Prachuap Khirikhan.

Tham Sai

Is 9 kilometres north of the Kao Sam Roy Yot National Park office. Exploration inside the cave takes about half an hour. Oil lamps can be rented at nearby Khung Tanot Village.
Kao Sam Roy Yot National Park :
Located 63 kilometres south of Hua Hin in the vicinity of Kui Buri district, this coastal national park covers an area of 98 square kilometres with lime stone mountains, mangrove swamps, and beaches. It is also home to various kinds of local and migrating birds, which are plentiful from November to February. With a large number of ridges, Khao Sam Roi Yot (or the mountain of 300 peaks) stands as a landmark for seamen and also provides a good shelter for ships during a storm.

Khao Deang

There is a viewpoint on Khao Daeng, 400 metres form the park office and Baan Khao Daeng, a canalside village, Which is the starting point for a 1 hour boat trip to watch wild birds.
